Bonjour, ¡hola! and welcome to the fall season, our students have been busy with a number of activities this year. Fine arts programming, athletics and activites in our French Immersion program as well as around diversity have kept us busy. Our choir, jazz and band programs have been practicing for our Remembrance Day Ceremony coming up shortly. Music students are excited to be raising funds for a trip to Los Angeles in the spring.
A large number of our students have been participating in our athletic programs, including football, soccer, volleyball, cross country and swimming. Our football team and soccer teams are in the quarter or semi finals this week and are ranked number one for their division. Way to go Lancers! It has been great to see our fans come out to cheer them on.
Our leadership students have planned many activities in these opening months to assist students to find new friends and participate in a wide variety of clubs at Scarlett. There is a list of clubs on our site under the Clubs heading. It is not too late to join so please reach out if you need more information.
We hope everyone has a great November as the weather begins to change and we head into the winter season. Please remember to dress for the weather and be prepared for the snow that we are expecting this week.
Sincerley,
Carma Cornea
