Course Selections for 2025-2026 School Year

Student Services did a live-stream presentation into classrooms on Friday, February 7 during period 3 regarding the course selection process for the 2025-2026 school year. A copy of this presentation is available on D2L for students to review. We reviewed graduation requirements, pathways and prerequisites. Summer School

Student Services has been receiving a high volume of inquiries about summer school. Summer school information for CBe-learn (online) and Chinook Learning Services (in-person) will be available in late April, and communicated to students via classroom live-stream, email, website, D2L, Instagram, and weekly message.

Alberta Education Assurance Survey Open Online Feb. 18 – March 21

Every school year, Alberta Education surveys students, parents, and teachers to get feedback on schools. This helps us understand what’s working well and identify areas for improvement.

The Alberta Education Assurance Survey (AEAS) asks students in Grades 4, 7, and 10, along with their parents, to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in school.

Don’t miss this chance to have your voice heard! The AEAS is open from Feb. 18 to March 21, 2025.

Parents of grade 10 students will see information sent out shortly and we encourage all our grade 10 student families to respond.

Please see link for more details: Have Your Say! Share Your Thoughts on Alberta Schools for Students in Grades 4, 7 and 10 - Dr. E. P. Scarlett High School

Healthy Hunger – Message from Parents

This is an optional service for families and the decision to participate is up to each family. We have not reviewed the health standards at each restaurant, so we encourage families to make an informed choice.

To participate in fun lunches, create an account at www.healthyhunger.ca to register. Sign up to see the new vendors that are available to order from!

If you are able to help out with the distribution of Healthy Hunger lunches, please sign up!

Hope you have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Carma Cornea
